  2. 42nd Street is one of my all-time favourites, along with Gold Diggers of 1933. Those old musicals are a joy to me, including all of the Astaire/Rogers films.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. I hear ya Pete 🙂 Gold Diggers of 1933 was directed by Mervyn LeRoy and along with 42nd Street and Footlight Parade, the musical sequences were choreographed by the great Busby Berkeley 🙂

  4. Interesting ranking there Bill 🙂 Marked Woman if often implicitly cited as one of the most intelligent crime dramas for it’s time 🙂

  5. Does 42nd Street play Sing Sing Sing at any point? That’s my all-time favorite oldie song !!! 🙂

  6. Sorry for the late response Stacy 🙂 Sing Sing Sing is actually placed in 1937’s Hollywood Hotel and that one was directed completely by Busby Berkeley 🙂 Hope that helps 🙂 How are you? 🙂
