I like old Malick more than new Malick, l loved these 3 films, but everything he’s done since The Thin Red Line has left me cold. It took me 3 or 4 sittings to get through To the Wonder, and I haven’t even bothered to watch Knight of Cups, I’m not sure I ever will.
Having just revisited the work of Terence Malick, you can now easily see that I have included a few more films on here. As you can see I just added The New World under the four star films and To the Wonder and Knight of Cups under the three-and-a half star films. Tree of Life was good, but not great or very good even. Nevertheless, even To the Wonder and Knight of Cups feels too unfocused for its own good on occasions. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
