An interesting list, as usual, and it is especially curious to see La Ceremonie at number 1. I also would like to ask you about Les Cousins and its 9th position of three stars. Is it really that bad? I came across the movie not so long ago, and was dying to see it ever since. Now, I am not so sure.
No Les Cousins is not bad at all. * * * 1/2 means very good and * * * * means excellent 🙂 So yes please do see it. I am a huge fan of La Ceremonie and here is an interesting bit of trivia for you: did you know that L’Enfer was a project that the late Henri Georges Clouzot (Les Diaboliques) had planned on filming when he was still living? I do not know what his version would have been like, but I truly feel that Chabrol did justice to it. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
