The dialogue in Sweet Smell of Success is on a level of its own, way up high where it’s always balmy. Watching today’s films it seems writing dialogue is truly a lost art.
I totally agree and along with it’s electrifying dialogue, we get James Wong Howe’s cinematography that compliments it’s noir-ish tone and Elmer Bernstein’s atmospheric music score. Sweet Smell of Success is also another film that was shown on Moviedrome back in the day 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
