  1. I have only seen three of these, all around the time of release, in London cinemas. ‘Salo’, ‘Decameron’, and ‘Canterbury Tales’. They were considered shocking at the time, but I found them interesting, and not as decadent as some critics considered them to be. I haven’t seen any of them since though.

  2. Pasolini was quite a controversial filmmaker and his last one Salo most certainly pushed a lot of buttons that even today can still feel outrageous. Nevertheless, I agree with you that it was all blown out of proportion. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
