I would go with ‘Sullivan’s Travels’ as my top pick, every time. I love that film, and never tire of watching it.
Best wishes, Pete.
I never tire of watching either of his films. Sturges was an immensely talented director and writer. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
How Sturges got away with all he got away with in the 1940s is what marks him as a genius. Plus, his films always makes me laugh. The Lady Eve is hard to beat, although The Palm Beach Story would be my #1. A witty, delightful comedy from start to finish🙂
I know 🙂 I mean how does one get away calling not one, but three of the last name of their characters “Kockenlocker” 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
P.S. that name was from The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek, but you probably knew that already 🙂
