He was such a unique comedic talent. I think ‘Holiday’ is my favourite, but they are all good. Rowan Atkinson pretty much stole his style for ‘Mr Bean’, but was never as good. Tati’s genius was that the appeal was international, as the comedy didn’t rely on words to work.

As much as I love Rowan Atkinson and his Mr. Bean character, I have to honestly say that Tati is the real deal. I think Atkinson saw his own Mr. Bean character as his homage to Tati’s Monsieur Hulot and that was about it, but that is just my opinion 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
