In The Mood For Love is a real masterpiece.
2046 was not a worthy sequel, though it tried to be – it was too unfocused – interesting in parts, but less memorable.
Chungking Express is also wonderful – I must track down Fallen Angels which I’ve not seen.
His other films are also good, but not as good – I agree with your order.
Cheers. Peter
I haven’t seen them all, but I agree with your top pick. A lovely film to watch.
Best wishes, Pete.
Trust me, you will love Fallen Angels. As with Wong Kar-wai’s best work (for me, every single one of his films), their is something seductive about it’s style. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
In the Mood for Love is indeed “a lovely film to watch” as you so eloquently state. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
