Got me again, John. I haven’t seen any of them. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Just AWESOMENESS!!!! I personally love “The Gates of Hell” and “Zombie”,both waaaaay over the top splattercore films. Hard to forget watching Christopher George get his brain ripped from his head.
Great list,John. Do you own any of his films? I haven’t a single one in the wild…my feeling is I’m going to find these at an estate/yard sale.
The Godfather of Gore. Wow, what a nickname!
In terms of Italian horror, he was often compared to either Mario Bava or Dario Argento. Though, the previously two mentioned names were better directors all around If you ask me. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Nevertheless, have you ever heard of Milos Forman? I ask this because I did a list of my favorite films of his a few days back and here is the link below 🙂

I own The Beyond and the two spaghetti westerns of his under the four star films – numbers 2 and 3. Gates of Hell and Zombi are good. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
P.S. did you hear that horror director Stuart Gordon passed away quite a few days back? Sad isn’t it? 😦
That he certainly was 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Stuart Gordon was a hell of a director….so many strong films like “Re-Animator” and “Dagon”. His greatest gift was introducing the world to Jeffrey Combs……
Missed that post, John. Just left a comment.
