John Charet’s Favorite Horror Films of All-Time

Hey there dear readers 🙂 Before I say anything else, let me say that I am aware that some television episodes of horror items are missing and I intend to periodically update this list to include them when I am not so busy. 1. That’s a very comprehensive list, John. Without being argumentative, I would classify some as Sci-fi, especially ‘Alien’.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. What an excellent list! I’m not a horror fan but there are a number here I could probably cope with!

  3. As I’ve said several times before I’m not much of a horror fan. I haven’t even seen The Shining, although it’s been sitting in the recordings on my DVR for the last couple of weeks. Now your post has set the scene, I’m quite looking forward to it now.

  4. Though I did not compose it all on one day, There are still some episodes of television stuff that I skimmed over because I needed to get it done in time for Halloween 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂

  5. I am aware that Alien is a sci-fi film, though it also doubles as a horror film at the same time. I know you knew that, I just did not have time to label them as such (i.e. “sci-fi horror”). But you are entirely correct that it does qualify as a science-fiction film 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂

  6. Why thank you for the kind words Sarah 🙂 just out of curiosity, did you ever check our Nicolas Roeg’s Don’t Look Now from 1973? Great film 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂

  7. Check that one out by all means Paul S 🙂 Also (though you probably knew this already), it is directed by the late great Stanley Kubrick 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂

  8. I watched a lot of horror films last month, but I did not watch every single one of them this year 🙂 Nevertheless, thank you for the kind words 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂

  9. Hi John. I haven’t seen Don’t Look Now – a quick scan of Wiki has reliably informed me of several details that I’d need to bear in mind in the event of watching it. Quite a ‘turn of the screw’ type of movie by the sound of it. However, I’m a fan of Donald Sutherland so may be able to bear it. Thanks for the recommendations!
