Season 9 and the two that follow happen to be the shortest seasons of Moviedrome to date.
Since I could not find a youtube video link to Moviedrome presenter Mark Cousins introduction to Walter Hill’s 1992 action-thriller Trespass, readers will have to rely on Cousins intro transcript here. The episode’s original airdate was September 20, 1998 (read here). I really do not have anything to add except that it is a very good Walter Hill film. If any of you readers are interested, here is a list of my favorite Walter Hill films (read here).
Here is a youtube video link to the film’s original theatrical trailer
‘Tresspass’ is new to me, so I haven’t seen it. Got some good reviews though, so might be worth watching.
Best wishes, Pete.
I haven’t heard of this either. I looked it up. What a weird premise: “two firemen who decide to search an abandoned building for a hidden treasure but wind up being targeted by a street gang.” It sounds entertaining…if one looks past the usual cliches like two white firemen and black gang members, lol. Oh, well.
Like a lot of Walter Hill’s contemporary set films, it is B action cinema at it’s purest 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Check it out Pete 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
