Bob Fosse is so underrated. His ability to create such intimate stage performances but still feel the spectacle of the show is amazing. Lenny is one of Dustin Hoffman’s most underrated performances. You don’t hear too much about it nowadays, but it is fantastic.
You are so right about Bob Fosse. Too bad he could not live longer, it would have been interesting to see If he had more masterpieces to deliver. I also agree with you that Lenny is a great film. Speaking of which, Lenny was featured on Moviedrome sometime during the Alex Cox years. The sentiments of Alex Cox on the film matches your views of Bob Fosse as well. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
