Great list John, I’ve actually seen a few of these such as American Werewolf in London, Frankenweenie and Carnival of Souls. King Kong was actually shown on the BBC over here a couple of weeks ago. What a treat!
Why thank you for the kind words Paul 🙂 Nice to hear that King Kong was on the BBC a few weeks ago too 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
I love the movie Them! I’m happy to see it on your list. Eyes Without a Face is another favorite of mine. Here are three of my favorite horror movie guilty pleasures:
Sssss
Attack of the Giant Leeches
Motel Hell
I don’t recall seeing them on your list. Are you familiar?
Glad to hear that you love both Them! and Eyes Without a Face. I am also familiar with those three titles you list, but I do not consider them to be great ones. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
An impressive list, John..
I love The Wicker Man as a cult film, but never found it remotely horrifying.
Thanks for including Ginger Snaps and Berberian Sound Studio, which are usually underrated. I might add ‘It Follows’ as a modern horror film which really impressed me.
Best wishes, Pete.
It musta took you forever to compile that list.
“Impressive”. As Darth said.
I actually did include It Follows, it is on number 97. And yes, I love all of those titles you mentioned, but then again, you knew that. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Why thank you for the kind words 🙂 It did take a little while, but I had a fun time compiling it 🙂 Impressive indeed 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
Sorry, John. I must have missed that. My eyes are not so good these days! 🙂
Another great list. Eyes Without a Face is a favorite!
It sure is 🙂 Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
this list is even better than the first, although i dodnt care much for 21st century horror. there are exception, though, and i rate midsommer as one of the best pictures of the year. havent seen the original swedish version though.
Well unlike you, I love 21st century cinematic horror 🙂 Then again, you probably knew that reading it 🙂 I agree with you on Midsommar, it is fantastic. Anyway, thanks for dropping by 🙂
